Come along this very unique Airport Surprise Proposal

On May 19th, 2022 i received an inquiry for a Surprise Proposal less than one week from that inquiry. I talked with John on the phone short after and he explained his expectations. I called the airport to ensure we could be out on the tarmac for these photos. All was good. John booked me short after this conversation and we decided we’d chat that Monday to finalize everything.

John and i chatted that Monday and when he asked to give me the ring before the proposal. I said, ‘of course.” I had a meeting in littleton this morning of their session so i did that meeting and headed over. This was around 10am to meet him for the first time at his house and pick up the ring. He came outside i talked to him for a half hour or so and took the ring. We joked the entire time that he hoped i wasn’t just taking this ring and he would never see me again. Obviously that was not the case but you can understand his jokes as we had never met before this. I told him he could call or check in whenever he needed.

When i tell you i checked on that ring so many times throughout that day i mean it. I loaded up 1 hour early to make sure i was there well before they arrived and prepared. Again checking that ring several hundred times before they arrived. The time came where i see them walking up to the building. When i mean my heart was jumping out of my chest i mean it. I had never had so much anxiety in my life than this moment.

Keep in mind Rachel had no idea about me or this session. So how do you meet up with someone that has no idea about you? John perfectly walked up to me and said, “Hey stranger”. Rachel with a surprised look on her face. John and i did a quick small talk and then explained to Rachel he had planned a surprise photoshoot. She mentioned that was something she wanted. We head outside and start taking photos. I did my usual prompt and poses and captured these moments. I told john we would do this back-to-back photo and that was the moment i hand off the ring.

John had hoped for a video of this moment as well so i pretended several times to get “behind the scenes”. Which BTS is something i honestly do. I handed off this ring and proceeded to allow John to make the moment special. Rachel had no idea this moment was coming.
