I’ve got something super exciting to share with you today – an in-home family session I recently had in High Points, North Carolina! I have to say, being a family photographer is an absolute joy and getting to capture those precious moments for families is truly something special. When i arrived at their home i was greeted by some pups, and i knew that we were meant to meet.

I absolutely adore capturing these real and raw family moments. Especially when it includes littles. Watching their little minds work as they adventure around never fails to amaze me. The moments where everyone is just being themselves, embracing the chaos, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We started off outside chasing their little boy capturing those true two year old boy moments for his upcoming birthday. Of course we were racing against a wild storm rolling in so we quickly and chaotically captured the family, doing all i could to make a two year old laugh and smile. Which if you are not familiar it is a full on work out. Ending our session in the house surrounded by the fluffy pups and whatever chaos was to come.

It is so heartwarming to get a glimpse into peoples lives and their special world, surrounded by their favorite things and people. It makes me realize how incredibly lucky I am to call North Carolina my home. The stunning landscapes, the welcoming communities, and the amazing families I get to work with – it truly is a dream come true!As a photographer, my goal is to capture the connection and love that families share, and this session was no exception. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of embracing the chaos and cherishing every little moment/detail with our loved ones.
